smart cookies
I started reading the first Harry Potter book aloud the kids yesterday. They are entranced by the mysterious behavior of Dumbledore and laugh at the absurdity of the Dursley’s behavior (and I’ve only finished the first chapter). I am amazed at how much they pick up on. The best comment came from Ellie, who, after hearing how Voldemort could not kill baby Harry, exclaimed “He’s got baby magic!”. Indeed!

I wanna come listen too.
We have started collecting all the audio CDs of the series we could find at Half Price Books. It took us a while, but we now have the full set. We envision driving out west someday and listening as a family there and back.
